22 years in insurance — all of it on your side of the table.
Most insurance agents have never filed a claim themselves. I have. After a fire loss I rebuilt my own property and worked through the whole process — the paperwork, the adjusters, the coverage questions nobody warns you about. It taught me what a policy is actually worth on the worst day of your year.
I've spent 22 years in this business, and I've seen policies from the inside out — how they're written, how they're priced, and which questions to ask before a loss instead of after one. I use that to help you build coverage that fits the way your business actually operates.
A lot of business insurance today is bought through a web form and a 1-800 number. That can work fine on a normal day. The difference shows up on the abnormal day — when you'd rather call someone who already knows your business than start over with a stranger reading your file for the first time.
As an independent agent I'm not captive to one company. I work with a network of carriers and bring you the options that fit — not the one policy I happen to sell. And when a claim comes, I'm your agent through it: I help you understand your coverage, report the claim correctly, and stay in touch with the carrier until it's resolved.
"Anyone can sell you a policy over an 800 number. The value shows up two years later, when something burns and you need somebody who already knows your business and picks up the phone."
